Here it is, almost the end of summer…sigh. It has been a wonderful one weather-wise, and a very busy one (nephew got married in the front yard for instance!)…now the question is what to do as the evenings close in and the weather turns to the stuff we’re more used to? Well, one thing that pops to mind is to get back on the website and pick up where I left off! This means uploading pics from the summer’s wandering, uploading and cataloging more examples of my artwork, likewise my writing projects (I’ve really got to get back to rewriting my novel “Cocoa Pelley”). Also, I’ve been jamming my original songs all summer at the Shabin with the intent of going into the studio and laying down some tracks…and as is the case with all music these days, I’m formulating some ‘visuals’ with an eye (no pun intended) to that great theatre in the clouds, YouTube.com. As well there’s the long promised continuation of ‘Sculpin Tickle’ to get done. Some may remember that I stopped at around eight months in on my plan to draw a cartoon a day for a year. Life got very complicated and busy at that point in time so I decided that I couldn’t continue…but I did decide to pick it up again with an effort to present some of the ‘darker’ images of growing up in Labrador West.
Whew! Add to that the fact that I have to update the website’s page headings, theme appearances, and so on and you can see that I’ve a very full slate to keep me busy…and there’s more to come! Wish me luck, call me crazy and thanks for reading!
