For some reason it was never the 'hot chick' teachers that trudged up and down the gym floor...it was always the gym teachers or some visiting commandos...or zoo animals with jungle growth!
I managed to escape serious injury at this pass time but some of the guys didn't. Broken parts were common place back in those days. I think there was less of an awareness of mortality...or a disregard! I can testify though that the ground comes up pretty quick...and it's hard as a freaking rock! Iron Ore rock in fact!
Our playground was full of wonderful items that could maim and injure at a moment's notice, but we loved it! The old stage coach...I fell off that a few thousand times too! usually after a Saturday afternoon movie at the Royal pretending to be the good guy or the the bad guy gettng shot!
Let me say right here and now that yes, I am guilty of the occasional 'skip', but I do not recommend this practice. Besides affecting one's ability to do well in exams it also can lead to early adolecent stress disorder...or some such thing!
I have since grudgingly accepted that Chemistry exists...but only because quantum theory is sounding more and more likely! I'm still on the fence about Electricity!
Yeah, yeah. I know...these are the most pitiful looking rats anyone has ever drawn! But that's what happens when one is doing a project like this...first draft goes to publish. there's got to be some degree of unusual!
Heheh. This one got a rise out of the kids..."Is that us"? No, of course not...you guys love school! You're always happy! NOT!
The only time kids are even more down is that last week of August!
That's the day that I had...and then some! Ah well, nothing serious wrong so I'm happy-ish...at least that's what I'm telling myself! Seriously though, some days get so rediculous that you end up just accepting them as they are, and you find amusement in them somehow.
That was today. Going to bed now and pray that it's not Groundhog Day!
The Beat goes on...now the computer tells me that I will need a new password for facebook...indeed, this day has been a textured one! Good Night!
There always seemed to be something either drowning, parching, eating, choking, freezing, melting, biting, blowing, chewing on whatever we planted...Always!!
And yes Randy, I remember bleeding real blood over those hardy little green sprouts...damn flies.
