Well, we made it. 2014! Who would have thought huh?
Last year brought my website creation skills up a lot (now I'm at about 'first day of grade one' level!). For the most part I got this site going and did a lot of 'Sculpin Tickle' drawings done. I did not however, get as many as I set out to do, which was 365 in one year. I realize now, that was a lofty goal and one quite unobtainable for someone who wishes to continue being in a life besides the internet! Having some time over the last while to reflect on what I want to accomplish with this site, I think it's wiser of me to include more of my interests. I still intend to do 'Tickles' but not on a regular basis. Also, the 'PG' portion of growing up in Labrador West has been covered well enough in my mind. There are other issues that affected us all which are not so innocent. I'll get to them all in due time. For now though I want to focus on some other passtimes of mine. This year's main project will be to go into my studio and record some original songs I've been gathering over the years (in much the same way as an aging fighter gathers scars) from 'Hard Knocks'. This endeavour will also be a learning experience. I've been fooling around with various software and feel it's time to up the challenge...and actually learn how to use them properly! As I figure out how I will post my progress. Please continue to comment and say your piece as though we are still sitting in a room together quaffing our beverage of choice. Believe it or not that's good therapy. Of course I will continue to upload photos, paintings, mutterings and writings as I see fit...this is after all, my studio! Wishing all the very best in 2014, Snowden.

Happy New Year Snowden! I have enjoyed your Labrador reminiscences hope I spelled that right! I have to admire your commitment, though I often had to read a backlog to keep up. I have been working to fill a sketch book and have almost completed one
