When the job market gave up the ghost once more...I hit the road, accepting a gig in la Belle Province. Quebec City or to be entirely accurate, Levis, working at Chantier Davie Canada, otherwise known in anglo circles as Davie Shipyard. I'm on a pretty good rotation so I will get to go home and see my family and loved ones on a regular basis so it could be much worse. The work looks like it will be...interesting. C'est la vie! I'm hoping to settle in for a bit and do some recordings of some new songs I'm working on, just as soon as I thaw out. We are presently under an 'Extreme Cold' warning with temperatures around -30C with a -50 Wind Chill so that's curtailing any desire I have for outdoor exploration at the moment. Plenty of time for that when the spring thaw rolls around. I'll try to post a pic or two soon. Ahhhhhhhhhhh...that's better! Garcon...bring me a Mojito SVP!
