For years I've been drawing illustrations for the 'Downhomer' or now days what's called 'Downhome Life Magazine'. I started out with the cartoon strip 'Clarence the Christmas Caribou', then illustrations of their mascot 'Salty' and then 'Life's Funny'...
It goes like this...they send me an anecdote that's been submitted by one of their readers and I find the gag...somehow! It's not always easy to do that!
