Couldn't resist...Picked these mussels just before a bbq at the studio. It was a very low tide and we were beachcombing.
One of the many pubs we checked out in Galway. this one is 'famous' for being the place that Oliver Cromwell recruited the two volunteers (Irish of course) to behead the King of England. There's a throne inside as well...and really good lamb stew.

After a hike to Mistaken Point, it was good to sit at a wobbly old picnic table and drink a glass of wine with a little snack. Incidentally, this is the beach that Ron Hynes grew up on.

Decided to take a little drive out a rocky road. Went to Cape St. Francis and took this shot looking SE along the coast. 01 June 2014.
